The magazine Rallyes devotes a fine article in its latest issue to our event, aptly titled: "The other jewel of Switzerland" .
And what a setting! Between the demanding mountain roads, the magnificent landscapes of the Vaud Pre-Alps, and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Aigle, the Rallye du Chablais has no shortage of attractions. Yet, as the magazine points out, our round of the Swiss championship remains too little known on the international stage, despite a prestigious list of winners that includes nine-time world champion Sébastien Loeb , the most recent winner, on four occasions.
A unique route in Switzerland
From the legendary Tour d'Aï special stage at 2,330 meters altitude to the winding roads of Collombey-Muraz, the Chablais route combines alpine passes, narrow sections, and technical parts that truly showcase driving skill. A challenge for the competitors, but also a visual feast for the spectators, given the spectacular scenery.
A human-sized atmosphere
While attendance remains lower than at other events, this "rally village" atmosphere is part of its charm. Drivers appreciate the close interaction with the public, the warm welcome from the volunteers, and... the local specialties served in the service park!
A date not to be missed
Beyond the Swiss championship, the Rallye du Chablais also counts towards the European Rally Trophy and the Tour European Rally , attracting some top international drivers each year. Combining a friendly atmosphere, technical challenges, and picture-postcard scenery, it stands out as a unique event on the calendar.
The Rallyes article concludes that it's high time our event gained the recognition it deserves. We wholeheartedly agree… and we're already looking forward to welcoming even more of you to the next edition!
