A New International Distinction for the Rallye du Chablais

The Rallye du Chablais has reached a new milestone in the recognition of its commitment to sustainability and responsible event management.

​

After becoming, in 2025, the first Swiss rally to obtain the FIA 1-Star Environmental Accreditation, the Association Rallye International du Chablais was also honoured through the UN Tourism Awards for Excellence in Sustainable Sports Tourism, powered by the FIA, a joint initiative of UN Tourism and the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). These awards were created to highlight exemplary projects that combine sustainability, innovation, social impact, and the responsible development of sports tourism.

Following a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by an international jury, the project submitted by the Association Rallye International du Chablais was praised for its strong contribution to sustainability as well as for its positive social impact. The jury also recognized the quality of the project, its innovative character, and its significant contribution to the promotion of responsible sports tourism.

This international recognition confirms the relevance of the approach pursued by the Rallye du Chablais over several years to combine sporting excellence, environmental responsibility, regional roots, and value creation for the region. It also reflects the event’s ability to be part of a contemporary vision of motorsport, one that is attentive to environmental, social, and tourism-related challenges.
